We have an existing opportunity to add an Intermediate Property Claims Adjuster to our team! You will work in a Hybrid based environment supporting field requests within the Kitchener area.
Job Summary The Claims Adjuster actively adjusts claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. This involves marketing and follow-up of opportunities in a timely manner. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have background/experience in Property.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience:

Completion of high school education; University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance will be given preference.

We have an existing opportunity to add a Junior or Intermediate Property Field Adjuster to our team! You will work in a Hybrid based environment supporting field requests within the Calgary area.
Job Summary The Adjuster actively adjusts claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. This involves marketing and follow-up of opportunities in a timely manner. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have background/experience in property.
Key Responsibilities

Prompt contact and follow up with policy holders and claimants.

Investigate the cause and report to clients with solid recommendations.

Using supplied technology (e.g., Docusketch.), scope and establish quantum of damages.

Identify exposures, recommend reserves, recommend investigation required for exposure, prepare action plans, and negotiate fair and satisfactory settlements.
-
Throughout the claims process, provide high level of customer service to clients and the insured.

Participate and share ownership and responsibility for afterhours customer service requirements when required
-
Perform duties assigned to him/her in compliance with established work standards, policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Completion of high school education; University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance will be given preference.

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience with property claims.

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive).

Alberta Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing exam
-
Ongoing commitment to education and learning, preferably pursuing CIP designation as well.

Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause-and-effect dynamics
-
Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them.

Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature, perform and understand advanced numerical calculations including analysis of comparative information.

Excellent communication skills, including listening, interviewing, negotiating, must be able to flex style appropriate to audience

Proactive and positive approach to customer service ensuring that all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner.

Strong interpersonal skills allowing you to effectively deal with conflict and difficult situations.

Liability Claims Supervisor - Full Time (Anywhere in Canada)
International Programs Group (IPG) is an independent third-party claims administration team that provides claims services for Lloyd's of London, self-insured entities, and organizations with high deductibles. We provide our clients with peace of mind knowing that their interests are looked after by a team of professionals who understand the specific language and technicalities of this market, and who are dedicated to providing the highest quality TPA services.
We have an existing opportunity to add a Liability Claims Supervisor to our team! The Liability Claims Supervisor will also act as an Examiner for various Lloyd’s accounts which involves providing prompt, fair, quality claims service to clients.
Role Responsibilities:
Claims Processing
- Works independently to examine complex liability/property claims.
- Assembles information for the purposes of evaluating the scope of the loss and determining appropriate coverage and indemnification to effectively manage claim.
- Produces complex reports with little to no direction.
- Directs Field Adjusters on assignment investigations.
- Settles claims directly with claimants or their representatives.
- Administers claim payments/settlements through trust accounts.
- Liaises with all stakeholders to ensure client’s needs are met.
- Seeks advice from manager, as necessary, in a collaborative manner.
People Processes
- Acts as mentor and provides training to Junior Examiners.
- Assists Manager as acting Supervisor reviewing reports of other Examiners and providing technical assistance to junior and trainee Examiners, as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- College diploma or combination of education and equivalent business experience.
- CIP designation an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience Liability, Property Damage and Bodily Injury Adjusting.
- Multi-line adjusting experience would be an asset.
- Experience dealing with Lloyd’s would be an asset.
- Licensing: commercial license recognized by the AMF
- Individual must demonstrate the ability to direct adjusters of all levels and work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external associates, written and oral communication skills.
- A positive, “can do” attitude and customer service approach ensuring all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive in identifying and implementing solutions.
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding environment.
Competitive Pay: $67,200 - $93,300.
