The Adjuster actively adjusts claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. This involves marketing and follow-up of opportunities in a timely manner.
Qualifications, Experience & Details:
- Earnings may vary depending on billings
- The ideal candidate should have experience in at least one of these areas: Property, Liability, Accident Benefits, Bodily Injury claims (with a preference on Accident Benefits/Bodily Injury Claims)
- University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience
- Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing CIP designation
- Equivalency in combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Ongoing commitment to education and learning.
- Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause-and-effect dynamics
- Good investigative manner
- Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them.

- Expérience en Gestion d’une équipe de 1 à 3 ans serait un atout.
- Connaissance de base de l’anglais (communications orales/écrites possibles en anglais avec clients et assurés
- À l'aise dans l'utilisation des outils Microsoft
- Titre PAA un atout
RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES: - Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe d'experts et la direction
- Participer aux évaluations de performance (ACE) et à l’établissement des objectifs annuels des membres de l'équipe. Motiver les membres de l'équipe en fonction des orientations de l’entreprise
- Informer la direction des besoins de formation et d‘organisation du service et suggérer des pistes d’amélioration. Effectuer ensuite le suivi de la mise en place des mesures établies
- Élaborer les plans de formation et/ou de gestion de la performance pour les experts
- Participer à des projets spéciaux à la demande de la direction
- Participer aux rencontres de chefs d’équipe et transmettre l’information à son équipe
- Travailler en collaboration dans la planification et la promotion des meilleures pratiques
- Participer au processus d’embauche d’expert
- Rencontrer les objectifs de production établies par la direction
