Pario Forensic Accounting Services (Pario Forensic), a leading provider of forensic accounting services to the insurance and legal industries, is pleased to announce the addition of Ronald Cote, as Director, Forensic Accounting.
Mr. Cote comes to Pario Forensic with more than 30 years of accounting experience, much of that time in the field of forensics. Most recently, Ron spent 16 years at a large national accounting firm, helping to establish the Chicago office’s forensics practice in 2003.
Ron has led investigations into suspected employee dishonesty and corruption, as well as validating companies’ compliance with regulatory settlements connected to laws such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Ron’s work in disputes has included roles as neutral accounting arbitrator, court appointed independent accountant, and litigation damages expert. Ron has worked for clients across a variety of industries including publishing, insurance, credit card lenders, Tier 1 automotive suppliers, student lenders, resorts and casinos, universities, and contractors.
Mr. Cote holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI), and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designations.
